| About the CRPA |
The CRPA board members meet once a month to discuss what is going on in the community, planning of Cornell growth, builder and town issues, traffic problems and anything that might affect Cornell residents such as the Bus Loop. We also plan great community events. In the summer the board meets more frequently to plan the annual Cornell picnic.

Letter from local resident:
Over the past two years I have been to several CRPA meetings. Each meeting has left me in awe of the responsibilities you take on individually and as a group, and each time I leave with a strong sense of living in a community that cares. The work that you do for Cornell (and by default, the Town of Markham) is nothing short of astounding, especially to someone like me who has lived in neighbourhoods that have seemed quite helpless when it comes to solving community issues. I realize that I am fortunate to have representation in Cornell. The extraordinary work you did to address the proposed bus loop is just one example of the many ways you have worked with my (and everyone's) best interests in mind. Having acted on a board myself, I have a sense of the time you are forfeiting from your families and personal agendas, all for the greater good. I offer you my humble support and sincerely thank you for making the reason I moved to Cornell a reality: to live in a "community" in the true sense of the word; one that thrives and continues to move in a positive direction.
Sincerest regards,
Stuart Lender, Cornell resident
