CRPA 7th Annual Cornell Picnic a Fabulous Success!

The light rain that came and went throughout the CRPA’s 7th annual picnic wasn’t enough to dampen the spirits or appetites of the roughly 1000+ Cornellians, family and friends who attended Cornell’s premiere summer event. The event featured hot air balloon rides, water tag, bouncers, slides, an obstacle course, a rock climb, ponies, face painting, button making and more. Guests were treated to the magic of Danny Hamill and magician Adam Cook plus we were entertained throughout the day with rocking tunes from Mojo Grande!

Did You Know?

The fantastic day is an undertaking the CRPA’s board executives begin every January. It starts with soliciting sponsors to fund the event, then as the months pass, we begin organizing activities, creating flyers and signs, and finding more sponsors! As the big day draws near the real chaos begins – finding and organizing, volunteers, erecting tents, moving tables, blowing up balloons, putting up signage and much, much, more. Seeing the joy-filled smiling faces of our children couldn’t be a better payoff for all the efforts the volunteers give to this event!

The 7th annual Cornell Picnic would not be possible without the very generous support of our sponsors and volunteers.
