After the thunder shower in the morning the sun shone down and helped bring over 1000 attendees. “Full Moon” kept everyone entertained with some great music. The bouncy castles were a huge hit, as always, and the Mini-putt course.

This year at the picnic, a raffle was held to raise money for the Young Family, longtime residents of Cornell, to put towards the purchase of an in-home wheelchair elevator for their 5 year old son. The raffle raised $250, and the Youngs wish to extend their thanks for all the support they’ve received from the community.

Special thanks to our sponsors, who made this day possible:

Please applaud the many volunteers, including CRPA Board members, Parents in the Community, and Students, who made this event possible.

If you’d like to help organize one of our annual events by volunteering your time, please let me know. We can always use (and greatly appreciate) the help.
